This Friday, Real Betis announced that midfielder Isco suffered a fracture in his left fibula. Because of this, the Spanish athlete is out of the European Championship, which will be held between June 14th and July 14th, in Germany.

Isco was injured this Thursday during the duel between Real Betis and Las Palmas, which ended in a 2-2 draw, at the Gran Canaria Stadium, in the Spanish Championship. The possibility of surgery is being evaluated and the club should decide in the coming days.
The 32-year-old midfielder was coming off a standout season at Real Betis and, according to the Spanish press, was on coach Luis de la Fuente’s 26-man squad. In total, he played 36 games, scored nine goals and provided seven assists.
In addition to missing the Euro Cup, Isco will also miss Real Betis in the last two games of the season. The Spanish club takes to the field this Sunday, at 2pm (BrasÃlia time), against Real Sociedad, at the Benito VillamarÃn stadium, for the 37th round of La Liga.
