The result kept the already relegated Granada in 19th place, with just 21 points achieved. On the other hand, the Merengues reached 90 points and are already La Liga champions.
Real Madrid returns to the field on Tuesday, at 4:30 pm (Brasília time), against Alavés, in the Spanish Championship. Granada, in turn, is scheduled to play on Wednesday, against Rayo Vallecano, in the same tournament.
Real Madrid controlled much of the first half, but only opened the scoring 37 minutes into the first half. Brahim Díaz made a play on the right and found Fran García, who, inside the area, shot against the goalkeeper’s foot.
The team extended the lead in stoppage time, at 46, when, in a counterattack, Fran Garía received it from Arda Güller, took the ball and returned it to the Turk, who dominated and shot a cross into the net.
The Merengue team started the second half with everything and scored the third after just three minutes. Brahim Díaz started in the middle, invaded the area, cut the opponent and shot into the corner of the goal defended by Batalla.
The game turned into a rout after 12 minutes. Luka Modrić received a free kick inside the area and touched it to Brahim Díaz, who dominated, turned on the marker and shot low, scoring the fourth for the team led by Carlo Ancelotti.
