American UFC fighter Smith said that Russian Pavlovich scared him
American mixed style (MMA) fighter Anthony Smith spoke about a meeting with Russian Sergei Pavlovich, which scared him. The words of the UFC fighter are quoted by Match TV.
According to the athlete, this happened during preparation for the fight with Magomed Ankalaev. “I made some kind of joke – I don’t even remember what kind of joke it was – but he didn’t think it was funny. And he was so serious, and also huge in size. When he stands there and doesn’t smile, you automatically start to get nervous,” Smith said.
The American had 56 fights in MMA, in which he won 37 victories and suffered 19 defeats. He is ranked tenth in the UFC light heavyweight rankings.
The 31-year-old Pavlovich has 18 wins and two defeats. The Russian is ranked third in the UFC heavyweight rankings.
