Fortunately, famous chef Gordon Ramsay shared his quick and easy “trick”to obtain perfectly soft-boiled eggs.

In the case of soft-boiled eggs, the Kitchen Nightmares star recommends dipping them into water with a spoon firstthat doesn’t boil furiously for six minutes. If you don’t cook them gently, you risk curdling them too much. If the water boils gently, you’re more likely to get a product that’s perfectly soft and slightly runny.

Take an egg, crack it, and then dip it in water

After six minutes, the chef removes the eggs from the pot and places them in a small bowl of water, and then shares his “little trick”. He explained: “Now take out the eggs. I always like to put them in cold water first before I start peeling them. He then took each egg and began cracking it at the base, blowing on the bottom, before placing it back into the bowl of cold water.

After a minute or two, Gordon took the egg out of the water, removed the bottom of the shell, and then blew on it, making removing the shell a breeze. After easily removing the shell, Gordon cut the egg open and said it “should be slightly runny inside” and showed a perfectly soft-boiled eggwhich was both liquid and yellow.
