Salah and Klopp clash in Liverpool’s draw

Liverpool stumbled again in the English Championship this Saturday, by drawing with West Ham 2-2, at the London Olympic Stadium. During the game, Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah clashed with coach Jurgen Klopp.

The discussion took place in the 34th minute of the second half, when the Egyptian entered the match in place of Luis Díaz. Salah was reportedly unhappy about not starting the game as a starter and that’s why he fell out with Klopp.

After the match, Salah preferred not to comment on what happened, but made it clear that if he spoke “there would be fire”.

Coach Jurgen Klopp also didn’t comment much on the matter, but calmed down the situation and stated that it had already been resolved with Salah.

“We’ve talked now in the dressing room and, for me, it’s resolved,” said Klopp.

The German is living his last moments as Liverpool coach. Klopp had already announced that he would step down as coach of the club at the end of the season.

The draw further complicates Liverpool’s fight for the English title. The team occupies third place with 75 points, but has more games than Arsenal and Manchester City, favorites to win the competition.
