Legends have circulated for years about the reasons for Sitek’s departure from the soap opera. There were reports that the actress had a conflict with the production and starred on the set. It was even claimed that she had excessive requirements, mainly financial, inadequate to her achievements and experience, which she strongly denied. – I resigned from the role after a long conversation with the late Marian Terlecki, the then co-producer of the series. The conversation mainly concerned plans related to the development of my character and artistic expression. Not finances. Some kind person made news out of this whole situation – she explained in an interview with “Życie na hot”.
Although she disappeared from the screens, she regularly appeared on Bydgoszcz stages, and in the years 2000-2008 she was a member of the cast of the Ochota Theater in Warsaw. – This is where I became an actress, here I understood what this profession was all about and here I am still learning it. I prefer to devote my entire life, not only my professional life, to it, rather than take part in TV or film projects of questionable quality that do not reflect the truth about me as a person, she said, adding that performing in front of an audience gives her the greatest fulfillment.
