Female MMA fighter Zheleznyakova spoke about pregnancy tests in the UFC
Russian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Daria Zheleznyakova spoke about the features of women’s fights in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Her words are quoted by Match TV.
According to her, female athletes are required to undergo pregnancy tests. “When I fought in Ares (French promotion – approx. “Tapes.ru”), we simply signed a document that we were not pregnant. And now we arrived and first of all went to the hospital, where they took my blood for hCG. Everything is super official,” said Zheleznyakova.
The Russian woman added that the UFC has special people who take care of athletes’ hairstyles before fights. “A UFC employee immediately wrote to me and asked me to choose a time, and a hairdresser came to me at nine in the morning and gave me a makeover before the fight. I did it very well, everyone liked my braids,” the fighter noted.
Zheleznyakova made her UFC debut on March 24. She defeated Mexico’s Montserrat Rendon by unanimous decision.
