This Tuesday, from 5 pm (Brasília time), the TV Brasil broadcasts another game of the Brazilian Women’s Team in the SheBelieves Cup Tournament, in the United States. The Brazilians will face the Japanese team, in the dispute for third place in the competition.

In the first game, Brazil lost to the Canadians in a penalty shootout, after a 1-1 draw in regulation time.

The broadcast on TV Brasil will feature narration by Luciana Zogaib and comments by journalists Marília Arrigoni and Brenda Balbi.

The competition brings together four teams: Brazil, Canada, the United States and Japan. Coach Arthur Elias used the tournament as a test for the Paris Olympic Games, as the Japanese teams make up Brazil’s group.

About the competition

The SheBelieves Cup is a global women’s football tournament, held annually in the United States since 2016. Four national women’s football teams participate in the games – the United States and three other invited teams.

The hosts are the biggest winners of the tournament, with six wins in total. In 2017, France was champion and, in 2019, England took the title. In 2024, the North Americans will be looking for their fifth consecutive title against Canada. The decision is also this Tuesday, at 8 pm.
