The selection of France will face the world team ‘World XV’which will bring together some of the main rugby figures on June 22 at the stadium in San Mames (4:00 p.m.) in a test that will also serve the French team to start its summer tour.

The event, confirmed this Tuesday, will mark the return of high-level rugby to Bilbao. San Mames hosted the two major European club finals in 2018 and will do so again in 2026.

“Holding this sporting event in Bilbao means for us to once again revive the great passion with which we hosted the 2018 European finals,” highlighted the mayor of Bilbao, Juan Mari Aburto, in statements released by the city council.
