This Wednesday, coach Jurgen Klopp revealed at a press conference that Diogo Jota, Alisson and Trent Alexander-Arnold should return to Liverpool training next week. The German coach also announced that Curtis Jones and Andrew Robertson are available for the match against Sheffield United, which takes place this Thursday, at 3:30 pm (Brasília time), for the 31st round of the English Championship.

“The boys are fine, Diogo (Jota) and Trent (Alexander-Arnold) are together in a group, but it looks like they can return to team training next week,” he said. “Alisson is with the goalkeeping coaches, so I only see him through the fence, but he also looks good to me. I think in his mind too, next week it will be part of the team’s training.”
All three players were injured in February. Diogo Jota and Arnold were sidelined due to a knee injury. Goalkeeper Alisson had a thigh injury.
For the match against Sheffield United, Liverpool will have the return of two important players. Curtis Jones returns after suffering an ankle sprain in February. While Robertson has had tibiotarsal (ankle) problems since last week.
“Curtis (Jones) is training, training full steam and is in contention. That doesn’t mean he can play 90 minutes, but he can play a few minutes,” said Klopp. Asked if Robertson is capable of returning against Sheffield United, He replied: “Yes, and it will be very important, in fact.”
However, the German coach also stated that he was observing the situation of Japanese midfielder Wataru Endo, due to a blow suffered last weekend, and the athlete is doubtful for the match against Sheffield.
“We have to see tomorrow what we can do with it”, he explained.
