Tottenham opened the scoring five minutes into the first half, after a good move on the left. Timo Werner crossed low and Brennan Johnson pushed the ball home.
West Ham’s equalizer came in the 19th minute of the opening half, when defender Zouma rose above everyone and completed the corner taken by Bowen.
