Cristiano Ronaldo scores three, and Al-Nassr thrashes Abha in the Saudi Championship

This Tuesday, Abha hosted Al-Nassr, for the 26th round of the Saudi Championship. With emphasis on Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored his second hat-trick consecutive, Al-Nassr thrashed 8-0.

The victory leaves Luís Castro’s team with 62 points, isolated in second place. The club has 11 points more than third-placed Al-Ahli, but remains 12 behind leaders Al-Hilal. Abha remains in 17th place, within the relegation zone, with just 22 points.

Al-Nassr returns to the field this Friday, at 4 pm (Brasília time), when it visits Damac, for the Saudi Championship. Abha will face Al-Fateh on Sunday, at 4 pm.

At 11 minutes into the first half, Cristiano Ronaldo opened the scoring. The referee pointed out a foul for Al-Nassr in the half-moon and the Portuguese star hit low to beat the goalkeeper. With 20 minutes of play, with another free kick, Cristiano scored the second.

After a wrong ball from Abha, Ronaldo received the ball inside the area and crossed for Sadio Mané to hit and score the visitors’ third, in the 33rd minute.

Cristiano Ronaldo completed his hat-trick at 42 minutes. The Portuguese received a shot from the left side and hit the cover to score a great goal.

There was still time for Al-Nassr to score the fifth goal before the break. After another lost ball in the home team’s defense, Cristiano Ronaldo received it on the left side and left Al-Sulaiheem calm to find the net.

In the 6th minute of the second half, Otávio stole the ball and found Ghareeb free to score the sixth goal of the game. After a play on the right, Al-Aliwa took advantage of a surplus inside the area and shot first time, with no chance of defense, in the 18th minute.

The last goal came in the 41st minute, after another bad game from Abha. Al-Aliwa stole, cleared the score and gave final numbers to Al-Nassr’s rout.
