Igor Tudor rejoins Juventus in his debut as Lazio coach

A reunion marks the 30th round of the Italian Championship: Croatian Igor Tudor will debut as coach of Laziothis Saturday, precisely against the club he defended as a player and had a brief stint as coach, the Juventus.

Lazio, runners-up last season but now only in ninth place, had a month of March to forget, with three defeats in four games. Therefore, Tudor’s arrival, after the Maurizio Sarri era, gives hope to fans.

Juventus is also not going through its best moment. The team scored just seven points out of a possible 24 in the last rounds and fell to third place in the table, practically being left out of the fight for the ‘Scudetto’.

In turn, the deputy leader Milan goes to Florence to face the Fiorentina (8th), still mourning the death of its general director, Giuseppe “Joe” Barone. The Rossoneri team will try to reduce the lead over leaders Inter Milan from 14 to 11 points, who host Empoli (17th) on Monday.

After elimination in the round of 16 of Champions League for the Atlético de Madrid and the tie with Napoli at 1-1, Inter will try to regain victory, which will put the team even closer to the Italian title.

In the game that opens the Serie A round, Napoli (7th) hosts Atalanta (6th), a duel between two teams fighting for a place in the European cups.

There will be no games on Sunday due to Easter, as is customary in Italy.
