Brazilian defender Marquinhos, captain of Paris Saint-Germain, returned to training with the team this Thursday, after being out for several weeks due to an Achilles tendon injury.
Marquinhos, who was left out of the Brazilian team’s friendlies against England and Spain, has missed six PSG games since being injured on February 17th in a game against Nantes.
The Brazilian could return to the Parisian team next Sunday, against Olympique de Marseille, in the French Championship, or on Wednesday, against Rennes, in the semi-final of the French Cup.
“There is nothing very worrying or serious. He could have played against Real Sociedad (in the round of 16 of the Champions League), but as long as he is not 100%, there will be no need to take risks,” said PSG coach Luis Enrique, in a press conference on March 12th.
