Real Madrid has everything in place to renew midfielder Toni Kroos’ contract for another year, according to the Spanish press. The German’s current contract ends in July 2024, but the parties have an agreement to extend it.
The information was initially given by journalist Fabrizio Romano and later confirmed by the Spanish media.

With this, the 34-year-old player will enter his 11th season with the Merengues. Kroos has played 455 games for Real Madrid and won 21 titles, including four Champions Leagues and three Spanish Championships.
During this period, the player marked his time in the Spanish team’s midfield alongside Modric and Casemiro.
In addition to the renewal with his club, the month of March also marked the return of Toni Kroos to the Germany national team. The player was a starter in the team’s two friendly victories against France and the Netherlands, on this FIFA date. World champion in 2014, the number 8 is expected to participate in the European Championship, held in Germany, in June.
Real Madrid continues with its philosophy of renewing veteran players for just one more year. The same happened with Luka Modric last year.
