A video was leaked this Monday in which São Paulo defender Arboleda appears enjoying a nightclub in New York, USA, alongside Kendry Páez and Gonzalo Plata, his teammates on the Ecuador national team.
In the video it is possible to see Arboleda dancing with a woman and showing a wad of money. The case would have happened the night before Ecuador’s game against Italy, at the Red Bull Arena, in New York, last Sunday.
On that occasion, the South Americans ended up being defeated 2-0. Gonzalo Plata was in the starting lineup, and Kendry Páez was on during the game, while Arboleda remained on the bench throughout the match.

Last Thursday, Ecuador also played a friendly against the Guatemalan team. In this match, Arboleda was a starter, Gonzalo Plata came on during the duel and Kendry Páez was on the bench.
This is not the first time that Arboleda has appeared enjoying the nightlife. In 2020, the São Paulo player was caught at a party during the pandemic and sparked outrage from fans of the Brazilian team.
