The presentation of the Itzulia – Basque Country 2024 will be held this Friday March 22, at 12:00 p.m., in Ficoba (Irun). The event can be followed live by eitb.eus.
The Itzulia will begin on April 1 and end on the 6th of the same month. They already know each other the routes and profiles of each of the stages and the race will feature the best cyclists in the peloton. Jonas Vingegaard, Tadej Pogacar and Primoz Roglicamong others, will try to win the Basque race.
All 18 UCI WorldTeams will participate: Alpecin-Deceuninck, Arkea-B&B Hotels, Astana Qazaqstan Team, Bahrain Victorious, Bora-Hansgrohe, Cofidis, Decathlon AG2R la Mondiale Team, EF Education-Easypost, Groupama-FDJ, Ineos Grenadiers, Intermarché-Wanty, Lidl-Trek, Movistar Team, Soudal Quick-Step, Team DSM Firmenich PostNL, Team Jayco Alula, Team Visma-Lease a Bike and UAE Team Emirates.
In addition, among the teams with the right to invitation, due to the classification UCI Pro Teams 2023he TotalEnergies will be at Itzulia 2024. Finally, the organization has invited five teams plus: Burgos-BH, Caja Rural-Seguros RGA, Kern Pharma Team, Euskaltel-Euskadi and Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team.
From April 1 to 6, ETB1 and eitb.eus will offer each and every stage live. After finishing each day, what happened will be analyzed in a special program.
