After a break of almost 8 years, Telewizja Polsat announced the resumption of the hit series “Malanowski i partners”. Although preparations for work on the set are ongoing, it is already known who will play the title role. This choice will be a big surprise for many.

“Malanowski i partners” is one of the most popular Polish shows, which debuted on the air in February 2009, instantly becoming a hit. The series, in which he played the title character, was successfully produced for the next 7 years, attracting millions of viewers. In total, as many as 15 series, i.e. as many as 807 episodes, were produced, and now there are reports that work on the continuation has begun.

The series was modeled on the German production “Lenßen und Partner”, and its plot was adapted to Polish conditions. It focused on the activities of a detective agency located in Warsaw and the agents working there. Each episode presented a different mysterious case and the entire process of solving it, which was a real treat for fans of crime stories.

When Polsat decided to abandon the production of another series in 2016, viewers did not hide their disappointment. Since then, questions about reactivation have returned from time to time like a boomerang. Everything indicates that the station takes into account the opinion of its recipients, because soon we will return to the famous office again.

According to reports, Polsat will resume the series, and its new version will be titled “Malanowski. New Deal”. As we know, Bronisław Cieślak, who played the title role, died in 2021, so the creators searched for a long time for a suitable candidate to replace him. The choice fell on , who will play the role of Andrzej Malanowski, Bronek’s brother.

Apart from him, Wacław Warchoł and Magdalena Półrzyńska will appear on the screen, making their debut as detectives, as well as Marek Krupski and Anna Lucińska, who are known from the original. Szymon Jakubowski and Łukasz Łukasik are responsible for directing, and the film will be shot not only in Poland but also in Spain. At the moment, there is no planned release date.
