The New Star Camp festival will celebrate its 15th anniversary on the slopes of Rosa Khutor on March 25-31
The New Star Camp 2024 festival will take place on the slopes of the Rosa Khutor resort on March 25-31. Its organizers told Lenta.ru how one of the largest events in the world of music and sports will celebrate its 15th anniversary.
Guests of the festival will find 105 kilometers of ski slopes, seven music stages, the largest freestyle park in Russia, numerous competitions and cultural activities, the press service noted.
According to a long-established tradition, the task of each new festival is to surpass last year’s and surprise all participants. This year the organizers also set a new bar for themselves, which they plan to overcome.
“The concept of the anniversary event was a kaleidoscope, in which the only constant is the mountains, and everything else is constantly changing, transforming and evolving from event to event,” said festival founder Igor Ignatiev. He noted that New Star Camp is often called “Russian Coachella” or “Winter Kazantip”.

Every year, New Star Camp becomes a point of attraction for professionals and fans of snowboarding, alpine skiing and other extreme sports. This year they will also have a week full of competitions and other activities.
The main sporting event of the festival is the New Star Invitational, a snowboard and ski competition in the slopestyle discipline on the PRO line, where the strongest invited riders will meet, as well as ten finalists of the ROSA KHUTOR OPEN competition.
At an altitude of 1100 guests will enjoy a show contest. The competition will take place on a specially built structure simulating a jib spot.
Parties and concerts will be held on the festival grounds day and night. In total, guests will be treated to more than 60 artists who will perform on seven music stages. The largest shows – performances by Cream Soda and Biicla surrounded by light installations by the international studio Sila Sveta – will take place on March 29 and 30.
