The doctor said that prolonged sitting poses a serious health risk that can lead to the development of many diseases and even premature death. She added that to reduce the risk, it is necessary to regularly take short breaks during work to exercise.

Pavlova recommended getting out of your chair every 20 minutes and spending at least one minute in an upright position, which could include doing a little stretching or just standing still. According to her, this will help activate blood circulation and improve metabolic processes in the body.
