CSKA lost to Lokomotiv in the series with a score of 1-4 and was eliminated from the Gagarin Cup
CSKA Moscow lost to Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in the fifth match of the Gagarin Cup playoff series. The results are available on the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) website.
The meeting took place in Yaroslavl and ended in a victory for the hosts with a score of 6:3. Among the winners, forwards Alexander Polunin, Ivan Chekhovich and Maxim Shalunov, as well as defenders Alexander Elesin, Andrey Sergeev and Alexey Bereglazov scored goals. For the army team, the goals were scored by forwards Mikhail Grigorenko, Vladislav Kamenev and Nikita Nesterov.
Thus, CSKA was eliminated from the Gagarin Cup, losing the series with a score of 1-4. Lokomotiv’s opponent for the quarter finals of the tournament will be determined later.
