CSKA football player Anton Zabolotny said that working with a psychologist helped him
CSKA Moscow football player Anton Zabolotny spoke about his experience of working with a psychologist. His words are quoted by Sport Express.
According to him, he first turned to a specialist while playing for Zenit. “There was so much hate. It was very difficult. Talking to a psychologist helped me a lot. If such situations arise now, I will contact him again,” the forward said.
He also said that he often experienced emotional problems after missing chances in matches. “The psychologist helped me figure it out. He explained: in football everyone misses, this is normal. He presented facts and helped to draw the right conclusions,” Zabolotny noted.
This season, Zabolotny played 17 matches in the Russian Premier League (RPL). The striker has six goals scored and one assist.
