MMA fighter Vyacheslav Datsik signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense and will go to the Northern Military District zone
Russian mixed style (MMA) fighter Vyacheslav Datsik signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense and will go to the special military operation (SVO) zone in Ukraine. TASS reported this on Wednesday, February 21.
According to the agency, the fighter signed an open-ended contract with the department. It is noted that his son Yaroslav will also go to the special operation zone along with Datsik.
In January it was reported that Datsik was wounded in the Northern Military District zone. In photos released from the hospital, the athlete shows lacerations to his left hand, while his right hand is partially wrapped in a bandage. Later, Datsik denied this information, noting that he was bitten by a dog and was at home.
43-year-old Datsik fought 15 fights according to MMA rules, in which he won seven victories and suffered eight defeats. In boxing, he has eight wins (five of which by knockout) with three defeats.
