ABFF First Deputy Chairman Vasilevich announced the match between Russia and Belarus
First Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Football Federation (ABFF) Association Andrei Vasilevich announced a friendly match with the Russian national team. His words are quoted by TASS.
According to him, the probability of a meeting is estimated at 90 percent. “The Russian side is ready to accept our proposal to host the match, they are also ready to hold a friendly match in Minsk, this is one of our conditions,” Vasilevich noted.
The functionary noted that the contract for the fight has not yet been signed. “When this will be done is a matter of time. As I understand it, the RFU also needs to agree on this issue with the head coach, and when they are ready to do this, we will immediately sign the agreement,” Vasilevich said.
Earlier it became known that the Russian national team will play two friendly matches in Moscow at the VTB Arena stadium in March. On March 21, Valery Karpin’s team will play against Serbia, and four days later they will meet with Paraguay.
