The Verge: Vision Pro users began returning Apple glasses
The first users of Apple Vision Pro glasses began to get rid of the device. The Verge reports this.
Media journalists paid attention to complaints from users on social networks. Vision Pro owners began to talk about how they wanted to return the AR headset to the store. Among the main reasons for dissatisfaction with the device, glasses owners cite headaches and motion sickness that occur when using the device.
Complaints also include reports of increased eye dryness or discomfort during use. The Verge’s Parker Ortolani admitted that after coming into contact with Vision Pro, a blood vessel in his eye burst. “The headset was too uncomfortable to wear even for short periods of time, both due to the weight and the design of the strap,” he noted.
One user noted on Threads that for $3,500, Apple’s gadget doesn’t provide enough performance. Google senior manager Carter Gibson said that the Apple device was useless because it did not support many of the file types it worked with.

Reddit users also noted the high cost of the AR headset and its unobvious benefits. “If glasses aren’t productive or enjoyable while relaxing, then I can’t justify owning them,” one writer noted. Journalists from The Verge emphasized that Vision Pro users have 14 days from the date of purchase, during which they can return the product without giving any reason.
Previously, Immersive Wire researchers found that most applications for Apple Vision Pro were downloaded less than 1,000 times. Experts also said that the app store for AR glasses needs to be improved.
