The Itzulia Basque Country 2024 will have 24 participating teams
A total of 24 teams will participate in the 63rd edition of the Itzulia Basque Country, which will be held from April 1 to 6. The race will start in Irun, with a 10 kilometer time trial, and will end, as usual, in Eibar.
On the one hand, it will have the 18 UCI World Teams: Alpecin-Deceuninck, Arkea-B&B Hotels, Astana Qazaqstan Team, Bahrain Victorious, Bora-Hansgrohe, Cofidis, Decathlon AG2R la Mondiale Team, EF Education-Easypost, Groupama-FDJ, Ineos Grenadiers, Intermarché-Wanty, Lidl-Trek, Movistar Team, Soudal Quick-Step, Team DSM Firmenich PostNL, Team Jayco Alula, Team Visma-Lease a Bike and UAE Team Emirates.
In addition, among the teams with the right to invitation, due to the UCI Pro Teams 2023 classification, TotalEnergies will be at Itzulia 2024. Finally, the organization has invited five more teams: Burgos-BH, Caja Rural-Seguros RGA, Team Kern Pharma, Euskaltel-Euskadi and Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team.
