The game – The first half was balanced and the two teams built chances. Under the command of Tayfun Korkut, Hertha opened the scoring, at 18, but the goal was disallowed.
In the 31st minute, Marco Rose’s Dortmund broke the deadlock. Brandt was fired deep by Erling Haaland and, facing the goal, he hit the goalkeeper with a cavalcade to score a beautiful goal.
The complementary stage, in turn, had the advantage of the clients. The home team’s reaction started at six, with Belfodil, who received a deep pass from Vladimir Daria and tied the clash. Six minutes later, Richter shot hard, from the goalkeeper’s right angle, and turned the game around after being fired by Myziane Maolida.
Finally, in the 24th minute, Richter extended the advantage. The winger took advantage of the rebound and scored the third for Hertha. At 38, Tiggers dropped to Dortmund, who failed to draw despite pressure.
