Russian mixed style fighter (MMA) Alexander Emelianenko signed a contract with the Ural FC promotion. He reported this on his Telegram channel.
The athlete’s manager Nikita Burchak, in a commentary to Match TV, stated that the agreement is for three fights, which is the largest contract in the fighter’s career. “I am a warrior who has been through a lot. I will win the fight, the main fight, in which the main opponent is myself,” Emelianenko commented on the agreement.
On December 14, Burchak announced the completion of the athlete’s rehabilitation. According to him, Emelianenko continues to be in the Iman center in Ingushetia, where he was treated for alcoholism, and is undergoing training there.
41-year-old Emelianenko has 40 MMA fights, in which he won 29 victories and suffered 10 defeats. Another fight with his participation ended in a draw.
