Kazakhstani Zhukov said that he liked living in Russia more than in Europe
Midfielder of the Chinese club Cangzhou Mighty Lions and the Kazakhstan national football team Georgy Zhukov spoke about his experience of playing in the Russian Premier League (RPL). His words are quoted by “Championship”.
According to the midfielder, who played for Ural Yekaterinburg, he liked the lifestyle in Russia more than in Europe. “It suited me well. Life is very comfortable, people are kind. But in terms of football, I didn’t see much of a difference: high-quality infrastructure, a high level of the league – what else does a football player need?” – Zhukov noted.
Zhukov played for Ural in 2016; before that he played in the championships of Belgium and the Netherlands. The midfielder has 21 matches in the Kazakhstan national team.
Earlier, three-time Olympic champion Irina Rodnina compared the level of comfort of life in Moscow and New York. She stated that at the moment Moscow is a much better place to live than New York.
