Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva spoke about the reaction to the number to the song from the series “The Boy’s Word: Blood on the Asphalt.” Her words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
The athlete stated that the idea came from her and choreographer Daniil Gleikhengauz. She emphasized that she expected a resonance, since any performance is made for the audience. “In fact, I received a lot of nice words,” added Valieva.
On December 24, Valieva performed a new exhibition number at the 2024 Russian Championships, where the athlete took third place. The program began with a medley, after which the athlete skated to the soundtrack to the series – the song “Pyala” by the group “Aigel”.
The series “The Boy’s Word: Blood on the Asphalt,” directed by Zhora Kryzhovnikov, was released in December last year. It has become the main cultural event of the end of 2023 in Russia.
