The South American Football Confederation (Conmebol) notified this Tuesday that from 2022 a prize of $ 1’000,000 will be instituted for each member association and the president of each of them will have the Power to decide which of their tournaments will be sponsored.
With the intention of increasing the competitiveness of local tournaments and strengthening clubs and associations, Conmebol decided to grant a sponsorship of $ 10,000,000 to federations throughout the continent.
According to the South American professional soccer entity, “each association president will have the power to divide the amount into up to two prizes and determine which of your competitions will feature this important champion incentive. The amount will be delivered at the end of 2022 ″.
