Ex-hockey player of the Russian youth team Didkovsky ended his career at 21
Russian hockey player Ivan Didkovsky on Instagram (the social network is prohibited in the Russian Federation; belongs to the Meta corporation, which is recognized as extremist in Russia and is banned) announced his retirement at the age of 21.
“I would like to inform you that due to health reasons I am ending my journey as a hockey player. I would like to thank all the partners, coaches, and team personnel with whom I was lucky enough to play and work!” — the Russian noted. He did not specify exactly what problems he was talking about.
The last club of the former Russian youth team player Didkovsky in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) was Sochi. As part of the team, in the 2022/23 season, he played 17 matches in the regular season, in which he scored one goal and made one assist.
Didkovsky received an invitation to the Russian youth team for the canceled 2020 World Youth Championship. He also won the Kharlamov Cup with the Dynamo youth team.
