The Catholic world and other churches celebrate the birth of Christ today. This is the greatest display of God’s love for mankind. Family, solidarity and unity come together in action: values ​​that deserve to be present in this turbulent time for the planet, beyond religions, and all worthy of respect.

Wars and violence endanger lives. Political leaders have in their hands the ability to think, to dialogue, to abandon positions and to prioritize the well-being of their people. Stopping wars requires a decision.

Celebrate Christmas

For the attack on violence, there are also rulers, who must devise strategies, get rid of party flags in order to make room for a unified action. Polarization and hatred only give space to organized groups to commit crimes, because what is missing on the side of hard-working and honest Ecuadorians is precisely the organization, led and convened by the highest state powers. No one can avoid responsibility in this struggle for peace, which would also benefit the economy.

Crime has placed Ecuador in shameful eleventh place among the most dangerous countries in the world, according to the Global Organized Crime Index 2023. It must be remembered for the unity needed to restore security.
