– It was a typical demonstration by the PZC authorities that they are doing something and that there is no reason to pick on them – says Adela Walczak from Curling in an interview with. In the meantime, he made a bizarre decision to throw as many as 11 clubs out of the federation structures. – We really do not know if any information was sent out, or if and where this congress will actually resume – says Walczak, whose club was in the group of expelled.
Polish curling has no chance for the Olympics
Among the clubs still in the ranks of the Polish Curling Association, only those that are currently favoring the governing body of the federation will remain. There are also those that have little to do with this discipline. – Mostly rowing or karate clubs, and even a military clothing store, which were incorporated into the PZC three years ago to ensure the majority of votes. According to estimates, only about 1/3 of the 18 organizations remaining in the relationship have contact with curling, adds the curler.
As long as the matter around Polish curling is not settled in accordance with WCF requirements, there is no question of our competitors taking part in international competitions. There will also be no participation in. There may be a chance if the POC recognized the Polish Federation of Curling Clubs founded by “rebellious” clubs.
