– The expansion of the editorial office of “Fakty” with the aforementioned journalists is related to the extension of the program by 6 minutes, which in the world of news means a lot of airtime to be managed – informs the Virtual Media service of the TVN press office of the Discovery Group. The main issue of the TVN news program was longer than the end of August, when “Attention! Coronavirus” disappeared from the air.
All three reporters have appeared with their materials in “Fakty” for some time, now they officially and permanently join the editorial office.
New reporters in the editorial office of “Fakty” TVN
Who are the reporter who joined the editorial office of “Fakty”? Jacek Tacik started working in the media from the Wrocław branch of “Gazeta Wyborcza”. He also worked for Telewizja Polsat and TVP Info. In the years 2013-2016 he was a reporter for “Wiadomości”. After Jacek Kurski became the head of TVP, Tacik switched to TVN24. The journalist is the author of the book “Zamach”.
Michał Tracz was associated with Radio Dla Ciebie, Information Radio Agency and “Życie Warszawy”. In the years 2006-2009 he worked for “Wiadomości”. He was fired when Jacek Karnowski became the head of the then TVP Information Agency, then he moved to TVN Warszawa, then to TVN24. In 2018, he became the editor-in-chief of TVN24 International, and when the station finished broadcasting, he returned to work on TVN24. He often prepares materials on domestic politics and Poland’s ties with the European Union.
Paweł Szot started on TVP Katowice, then he was a reporter for the news program “Silesia Information” on TVS and “Wiadomości”, which he said goodbye to in 2018. In TVN24 and “Fakty”, he often deals with topics from Silesia. The journalist has reports on events, incl. in Afghanistan, Syria, Kurdistan, Libya and Ukraine.
