Álex Mozas will coach Bidasoa in the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons

Coach Alex Mozas will be the Bidasoa coach in the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons, as announced this Tuesday by the Irun club. Mozas, 38, currently coaches Bathco Torrelavega, which is sixth in the Liga Plenitude ASOBAL, and will replace Jacobo Cuétara at the end of this 2023-24 campaignleading the Guipuzcoan team.
Álex Mozas, in fact, was the architect of Torrelavega’s promotion to the ASOBAL League, which has been under his leadership for three seasons, installed in the handball elite of the Spanish State, in a project in continuous growth. Previously, he trained in Alcobendas, and is also the second coach of the Spanish junior team.
The sports director of Bidasoa, Julen Aginagaldehas evaluated on the club’s social networks a hiring that he trusts will have “a good journey, to grow together working on this project”, while highlighting “the experience in the lower categories of the Spanish team” of the next coach of the Basque team, which is in second position in the League standings, after FC Barcelona.
