Amaia Aldai has revalidated her title champion of Cuatro y Medio by beating Goiuri Zabaleta in the final held in Durango by a forceful 22 to 13. The Bizkaian has fulfilled her role as favorite, not in vain has she won the two previous finals and dominated the match against a player, the Navarrese, only 14 years old, which has given ample examples of the quality it possesses.

Aldai has commanded the light after one on one, the only draw that has occurred in the match. Zabaleta, however, has not made things as easy as the final result may seem. The Dima player’s first significant advantage was 6-1, but Zabaleta got closer to 7-6.

Using his experience and his physical power, Aldai has once again opened a gap and has gone to the 14-7working hard on goals, since his rival has found himself comfortable in the rally. The 14-9 has been a bit beautiful, with both ball players fighting until the end. The txapela, however, was getting closer and closer to the red player.

Thus, and full of confidence, Amaia Aldai has gone to the 19-9, ten points ahead for the current champion. Zabaleta has managed to score four more goals and thus leave the final score at 22-13.

Amaia Aldai has deservedly won her third txapela consecutive of Four and a Half, which confirms her as the great dominator of the cage.
