Russian forward of the New York Rangers Artemiy Panarin scored two assists in the regular season match of the National Hockey League (NHL) against the Anaheim Ducks. This was reported by a Lenta.ru correspondent.

The meeting took place on the night of December 16 and ended with a score of 5:1 in favor of the team from New York. A brace from Chris Kreider, as well as goals from Jimmy Vesey, Mika Zibanejad and Adam Edström, helped them win.

Panarin became the second Russian in the current NHL season after Nikita Kucherov from Tampa Bay to surpass the 40-point mark in the goal-plus-assist system. With 41 points, the Rangers forward ranks third in the list of top scorers of the regular season.

Previously, NHL Network included Panarin in the top 50 best active NHL players. The striker, who has been with Rangers since 2019, is 32nd on the list. His current contract with the team runs until 2026.
