The winners of the “Putin Team 2023” award were awarded in the “Russia – My History” historical park. As RosBalt was informed by the press service of Smolny, the awards were presented by the head of the regional executive committee of the Popular Front in St. Petersburg, Ekaterina Mashkova, and Vice-Governor Boris Piotrovsky, who took part in the ceremony on behalf of Governor Alexander Beglov. He conveyed greetings to the winners on behalf of the head of the city.
“Being a member of Putin’s team is a great honor. The President revived Russia, returned its power and glory. He continues the work of Peter. Today he is the force that resists chaos. For the world, President Putin is the main defender of traditional values and justice. For everyone who is on the side of dignity and common sense, his support is the only possible scenario. Vladimir Vladimirovich is the undisputed national leader of Russia. The one who taught us again to respect ourselves and our country. His course not only united our society, it gives concrete, positive results,” emphasized Alexander Beglov.
The award was established in 2022 by the All-Russian public movement “People’s Front “For Russia””, the leader of which is the President of the Russian Federation. The award recognizes those who work for the benefit of the country, using their professionalism to help people.
This year the award was presented in 9 categories: “Hero of the Northern Military District”, “Best Doctor”, “Best Teacher”, “Family”, “Rescuers”, “Education”, “Eco-Activists”, “Industry”, “Volunteers”.
Elena Paskal, senior teacher of kindergarten No. 6 in the Krasnoselsky district, was recognized as the best teacher. Her son Anatoly recently died during the SVO. Now Elena travels with humanitarian aid to the war zone and founded the Pascal for Peace charity foundation.
In the “Rescuer” category, the award was given to Vadim Butnikov, an instructor at the Swimming sports complex of the CSKA branch, who saved a drowning man.
In the “Volunteers” category, the award was given to Natalya Dubasova, teacher-organizer of the youth volunteer team based at the Meteor youth club. She attracts young people to help animal shelters, weave nets for environmental protection organizations, remove unauthorized advertising and organize environmental events.
The winner in the nomination “Hero of the Northern Military District” was Vadim Zauzolkov, a doctor at the first-aid post of the military unit of the village of Kamenka. He was mobilized in 2022 and is now a combat veteran. He is injured, but despite this, he continues to work and help his colleagues.
In the “Family” nomination, the victory was awarded to the spouses Marina and Ivan Ryazantsev. They are raising 10 children, one of whom is a ward. They are winners of the city competition “St. Petersburg Family”.
As Alexander Beglov noted in his congratulations, all laureates are patriots of Russia, professionals of the highest class, actively participating in the life of the city and the country.
