Hockey club “Sibir” fired head coach David Nemirovsky
The Sibir hockey club fired head coach David Nemirovsky. This was reported on the team’s website.
The decision was made due to the team’s unsatisfactory results in the current season of the Continental Hockey League (KHL). It is noted that Nemirovski’s assistant Evgeniy Korolev, video coach-analyst Max Markovich and physical training coach David Gutshon will also leave the club.
Sergei Krivokrasov was appointed acting head coach. “It is necessary to take prompt measures to get the team out of the crisis while there is still an opportunity to improve the situation,” said team general director Kirill Fastovsky.
Nemirovski has been with the team since April 2023. He replaced Andrei Martemyanov in the post.
Siberia is in eighth place in the KHL Eastern Conference. In 40 matches the team scored 41 points.
