A native of Grozny from UFC Askhabov spoke about fights in a Thai prison

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter representing the UAE, Hussein Askhabov, spoke about the time spent in a Thai prison. Match TV reports this.

According to the athlete, he had to fight often. “There are a lot of people there, and the people, to be honest, are unscrupulous. I got tired of it, and I started forcing people to clean up there. He gave me some tasks. They also had jokes like this. I don’t even want to repeat this. This is simply unacceptable for us. And they received for this,” said a native of Grozny.

In September, Khusein Askhabov, along with his twin brother Hasan, was detained in Thailand on suspicion of robbery. Two months later, the athletes were released due to lack of evidence.

Askhabov was born in Grozny, but moved to France in 2012. From 2014 to 2020, he competed in the Ukrainian promotion World Warriors Fighting Championship (WWFC), where he won championship belts in the bantamweight and featherweight divisions. In his UFC debut in February of this year, he was defeated by unanimous decision.
