Alavés advances a budget of 64 million euros and a million surplus

He Alavés has advanced this Monday a budget of 64,326,219 euros and 1,060,549 euros of surplus for the 2023-24 season, which will be presented at the General Meeting of Shareholders, December 28.
Thus, promotion to the First Division had an immediate impact on the club’s accounts, which will have 37% more than last year’s budget; Specifically, it goes from 40 to 64 million. The entity earned 3.6% more than expected, and will project figures somewhat higher than initially estimated.
On the other hand, the losses from the previous season reached 3,375,467 euros, the result of the incorporations in the winter market or the collective bonuses paid for the promotion of category to the squad, as well as “a lower income from the transfer of players , with the aim of keeping the most relevant members of the team, to compete to return to the top category”, as stated by Alavés in a press release.
The club has made the documentation regarding all the figures available to the shareholders, so that they can collect it at the institution’s offices.
