Olympic champion Alina Zagitova answered a question about resuming her career. Her words are quoted by RT.
Zagitova said that she misses tournaments and has a desire to return to competition. “If you want to constantly perform at a professional level, you must sacrifice everything in the name of figure skating. No other way. You have to work like a racehorse, not seeing anything around you and not communicating with anyone. It’s quite difficult,” she added.
Earlier, Zagitova revealed the secret of championship in sports in one phrase. “Exercise and don’t drink!” – said the athlete, answering the question about what needs to be done to win.
Zagitova suspended her performances in December 2019. The champion of Russia, Europe and the world works as a presenter in the television show “Ice Age” and studies at the Faculty of Journalism of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA).
