Nutritionist Elena Solomatina told how people who lived to be 100 years old eat.
According to her, studies have shown that centenarians have low levels of glucose, uric acid and creatinine, as well as sugar, in their bodies. It turned out that such people very rarely drink alcohol and do not abuse fatty foods. Moreover, 90% of their diet consists of plant products.
The doctor noted that for a long life you need to maintain a good level of iron in the blood. In this regard, Solomatina advises including meat, liver and heart in the diet, as well as wheat germ, seafood, egg yolks, dried fruits and green vegetables. The expert recommends giving up sweets and replacing them with dietary dark chocolate or dried fruits.
In addition, the specialist, in a conversation with Vechernyaya Moskva, noted the importance of diet. “Centenarians live according to very clear criteria. Breakfast is a must in their daily plan,” Solomatina said, adding that the best morning drink is green tea without additives, not coffee.
Another important element is chewing your food thoroughly. The nutritionist called for eating food slowly to allow enzymes to 100% “break down food and get a smooth release of glucose in response to the arrival of carbohydrates.”
Previously, trichologists told how often you need to wash your hair.
