The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has announced the date of the rematch between Russian Magomed Ankalaev and Brazilian Johnny Walker. The promotion published it on the official page on the X social network.
Ankalaev and Walker will fight at UFC Fight Night on January 14. The fight will take place in Las Vegas (USA).
On October 21, Ankalaev and Walker met for the first time. The fight took place at the UFC 294 tournament in Abu Dhabi (UAE). Ankalaev struck his opponent with an illegal knee strike to the head, and the referee stopped the fight. After examination by doctors, it was determined that Walker would not be able to continue the confrontation. The fight was declared invalid.
Before the fight with Walker, the 31-year-old native of Dagestan had 17 victories and suffered one defeat. Another fight with his participation ended in a draw. The Brazilian, in addition to the fight with the Russian, has 20 wins and 7 losses.
