Neftekhimik goalkeeper Philip Dolganov spoke about salaries in hockey. His words are quoted by Sport24.

Dolganov said that in the first two years in the Major Hockey League (VHL) he received 20 thousand rubles. “And he lived normally! I rode minibuses and trolleybuses to games. Somewhere there was not enough money, my parents helped. I’m not spoiled, I lived within my means,” he added.

25-year-old Dolganov has been playing for Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk since the 2023/2024 season. Before that, he represented Izhstal and Molot in the VHL.

Earlier, Sochi forward Alexander Morozov spoke about salaries in the Youth Hockey League (MHL). According to the player, while playing for the Sakhalin Sharks, he received 15 thousand rubles a month. He added that the club fed them and paid for their housing, so the salary was needed only for pocket expenses.
