Salavat Yulaev coach Valvo said that Europe is silent about the merits of the Russians
Physical training coach of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) Salavat Yulaeva club Adrian Valvo said that in Europe they are silent about the merits of the Russians. His words are quoted by Business Online.
The specialist said that before 2016 he did not know much about Russia. “In Europe this is a negative point – they don’t talk about what good Russia has done. For example, about victory in World War II and other similar things, nothing at all. Although Russia has done a lot of work, done a lot of important things,” Valvo considered.
Valvo began working at the Ufa club before the start of the 2022/2023 season. Before this, the Frenchman already had experience working in the KHL with Dynamo Minsk. He is married to a Russian citizen.
On October 25, Croatian CSKA midfielder Kristian Bistrovich, who plays on loan for Baltika Kaliningrad, spoke about the change in the attitude of Europeans towards Russians. In his opinion, the situation has improved, since many foreigners are coming to Russia, and in Europe they are a little calmer about politics.
