The Spanish coach Luis de la Fuente has offered the announcement for the next matches that Spain will play the following days November 16 and 19.

The main novelty on De la Fuente’s list is Álex Remiro. Thus, the Real Sociedad goalkeeper has been called up for the first time by the senior Spanish team. Kepa Arrizabalaga’s injury has opened the doors of the Spanish team to Remiro.

It is also worth highlighting the return of Iñigo Martínez. The central defender from Biscay who plays for Barcelona has begun to have minutes in the Barça team and his performance in the last few games has convinced Luis de la Fuente.

In total they are nine Basque players called: Unai Simón, Álex Remiro, David García, Iñigo Martínez, Martin Zubimendi, Mikel Merino, Oihan Sancet, Mikel Oyarzabal and Nico Williams.

On the other hand also Rodrigo Riquelme and Grimaldo are among the new additions to the list. The Real Sociedad player is in the call Robin Le Normandbut not Aymeric Laporte (Al-Nassr).

The Spanish team has already qualified for Euro 2024 in Germany, but will close the qualifying phase next week. On November 16 they will face Cyprus at 6:00 p.m. and on the 19th they will face Georgia in Valladolid at 8:45 p.m. Spain will have at stake being seeded in the next Euro Cup.
