The U-17 World Cup will begin this Friday, November 10, with the opening match between Ecuador and Indonesia, the organizers of the tournament. The championship, which will be hosted by that Asian country, will be played until December 2, for a total of 22 days.
The Mini-Three are in Group A and share it with the hosts, Panama and Morocco. As a reminder, the competition consists of six zones with four teams each.
The Ecuadorian delegation arrived last Saturday in Jakarta, and then continued its journey to Surabaya, the city where the team led by Diego MartÃnez will make its debut in the World Cup of that category.
The U-17 Tricolor will make its debut at the Gelora Bung Tomo stadium, with a capacity of 44,200 fans, starting at 07:00 (Ecuadorian time). (D)
