Amorebieta extends its bad streak after the defeat against Eldense (2-0)
Amorebieta was defeated by Eldense (2-0) this Saturday, October 28, in the match corresponding to 13th day of LaLiga Hypermotion. Therefore, the Bizkaia team accumulates seven games in a row without winning and continues in relegation positions with 10 points.
After a start to the match without a clear dominator, Eldense struck early with a great spur goal from Juanto Ortuño in the 13th minute. Amorebieta tried to take a step forward in search of an equalizer, but failed to generate excessive danger and was away from the goal until half-time.
In the second half, the Basque team continued without depth and that allowed Eldense to peek into the visiting area with some danger. And in a set piece action, a header from Carlos Hernández hit Sibo’s hand. The VAR notified the refereewho had not seen the infringement in the first instance. The penalty was converted by Juanto Ortuño (2-0) in the 70th minute.
